Dear Natural Friends,
I was a member of your organisation a few years ago for six months. I was looking through some correspondence recently and found your Updates, so I decided to write to you and let you know what happened during my time in Natural Friends. I did get to know one person as a friend who was rather cynical about the whole thing, but I can't believe that you run this as a business proposition only. I'm sure you must be interested in what happens to your members.
I was attracted to quite a few people and despite a couple of setbacks (one being a meeting cancelled the day before by letter, due to a romance "suddenly" occuring with another Member!) I came to the end of my 6 months membership with a couple of good friends, both of whom I had met and got on really well with, and so I was happy to leave it at that.
I then received a letter from someone who had just joined and after a couple of months of writing to each other, we met. Amazingly, to both him and me, we are still together and things are going really well. Despite the distance, we see each other alternate weekends and as we are both very independent people this is really a good arrangement for us both. We are so alike that we think we are the male/female versions of each other, and I cannot think af any other way than through Natural Friends that we could ever have met each other. I'd laways believed that there was no-one out there for me, and I was content to look for new friends through your organisation, so this was a vey unexpected but very welcome surprise!
I hope you have had many successes, and hope you continue to do so.
Kind regards,
Susan
