Thanks for checking me out. Well, in a nutshell (it's one of those large nuts)! At the moment I split my time between working in the UK as a tree-surgeon and landscaper ( I started out as a rock band photographer), and renovating an old hill farm in a lovely valley, in a few acres of forest, on the west side of the Estrella mountains in central Portugal.
My aim is to convert some of the old stone cottages into self contained characterful rental properties for outdoor persuit parties, be it cycling, yoga, rambling, painting or just escaping.- I guess it will become what it's best suited to be.

I would like to create a quiet, natural envorinment for myself, partner and guests to relax, recuperate, re-charge, or to use as a base for any number of other activites, with the target of moving there permanantly during the next few years to get the thing going. Would like to grow an amount of my own vegetables and fruit, with out pesticides- wine, honey, olive oil etc, whatever does naturally well.
I have a gorgous 7 year old son, who lives with his Mother. I see my Son very regularly, and we have a great relationship.
I enjoy music of all types, depending on mood from soundgarden to Acca Dacca to jazz, cooking, art (whatever that is) creating different outside spaces, drinking wine and watching the sun go down in a hammock after a good days constructorizing!
I would descibe myself as a bit rough and ready, but upbeat, optimistic, spontaneous- ultimately reliable and honest.
