I'm Sara and in search of a lovely, compatible, easygoing and intelligent man to cheesily share life's journey with ... primarily I enjoy, well, everyday life really, minus perhaps a bit of the work - although I do enjoy my work. Spending time with people I like, adults and children alike, friends and family ... planning walking or cycling or camping trips ... I love music (play a few instruments and teach piano as well as music (singing, movement, rhythm) to preschool-aged children) and all those outdoorsy-kind or pursuits and holidays that involve walking, camping, cycling and being on the top of hills, by the sea, swimming in the river, shuffling through the woods, and cooking over a fire or wobbly calagas stove.
I've done lots of different things in my life so far - in terms of work, I've been an archaeologist in the UK and Greece (and did a PhD in archaeology), an academic editor (I still do some editing as a freelancer) and, in my more recent and I hope relatively long-term incarnation, as a music teacher.
I love people and am interested in relationships between people, and relationships people have with themselves. How we can be content with what we have - to what extent we influence what happens in our lives ... that kind of thing. Having my four-year old son is a (nearly) constant delight and total blessing.
