I am interested in nature ,especially birds and enjoy an occasional day out birding.I can spend hours watching the birdsin my garden. I am both serious and funny, ,used to love to dress up though nowadays spend most days looking a sight In Wellies and old clothes! Have been told i scrub up particularly well! i love reading and have an inquisitive mind so like learning about new things.I am not academic, did nothing in school or college but have educated myself reasonably well over the years through reading.I love travelling,seeing other countries and getting away from the usually cold British weather.I am a lousy cook and not exactly a domestic goddess either so will not suit anyone wanting a stepford wife! I push myself to experience things outside my comfort zone so I don't limit myself.Life is too short.I have recently done a scarily high abseil for charity and paraglided though I'm scared stiff of heights, done white water rafting and kayaked though scared of water! I don't tolerate fools gladly and I abhor cruelty to animals and mean spirited people. I make friends easily and I think I am a good friend and a loyal one who is a good listener and not just interested in my own life and issues. if all this fails to scare you off, get in touch, I don.t bite, well not often!
