I'm looking for a male friend, 70's to 80's, to share little jokes with, discuss the state of the world, someone who hopefully doesn't live too far away ... I've moved to live in the countryside, by choice, as I love trees, fields and wild flowers.  And living as I do in south-east England there's always plenty of civilised amenities like shops, village inns and tea-rooms within easy reach.  I like to be out of doors when possible and I'm becoming more interested in gardening.  I'm fond of animals, especially cats, don't own a dog but I like them too.  You'll occasionally find me talking to sheep and cows, they answer back in their own way.  I'm getting to know a few llamas as well!  I always think life is made up of days that are like jewels, to be enjoyed in so many ways - sounds and scents, sunshine and showers, friendly faces of passers-by, and all the myriad colours of the countryside, not forgetting the lure of the sea.   Most of all companionship with a good friend is precious.   I hope to meet you one of these days - who knows?
