I am retired having worked in science and engineering. I like to think I am gentle, sensitive, kind, generous, honest, loyal, faithful and easy going. I like long countryside walks and pubs, theatre, films, a wide range of music, museums, foreign travel, Radio 4, current affairs, stock market. I am a member and volunteer with the National Trust. If I could have only one holiday on my bucket list it would be to go to the Galapagos. I try to have a healthy diet eating fair-trade, organic and free-range but I am not a zealot about that. I can be a bit impish but you would want to have me on your pub quiz team especially for the science and sport questions. I have a very nervous rescue cat called Haka because he is All Black. In Myers-Briggs personality terms I am ISFJ. I would like to find a nice, intelligent, affectionate woman with some wit who likes gardening and cats to share life's experiences as an equal partner. I always find intelligence attractive and I hope you do too. Hopefully you will have a sense of humour and will laugh at my jokes although probably not as much as I will! Non-smokers only please.
