Hi, I'm 52 this year. Libran. Mum to 3 grown children in their 20's and grandma to a 5 year old. My kids are important to me as I spent the best part of my life raising them as a single parent. They are all grown up now and doing their own thing in life but I still keep in regular contact with them. 2 daughters and a son. Horse trainer, midwife and festival traveller.
I live in the Penwith area of Cornwall. I am a longtime vegetarian and was vegan for many years but not a vegetarian fascist....
My politics are to the left and green. I enjoy reading and currently devouring Greg Mortenson's book "Three Cups of Tea" about his failed attempt on K2 and the decade of school building in the remote high villages of the Baltoro it led him to build. (Well finished that one.) Now onto the Rose of Tibet. How about you? Do you enjoy reading and what types of books do you enjoy?
I love music, folk, jazz and blues. String Band, Hawkwind, Moondog, Bert Jansch, John Renbourn, Enjoy live music when I can.
I am interested in herbalism, natural methods of healing and stress reduction. I am a cancer survivor and got into researching natural health support after my experience with cancer and radiotherapy.
I like poetry, reading, philosophy, exploring ideas and theories.
I'm interested in nature, arts and crafts. I love plants and growing and used to have a huge allotment plot but since downsizing and moving to the sea I am now growing plants and herbs in pots. The salt is not a great friend to a lot of plants.
I enjoy vegetarian/vegan cookery and have worked at a Buddhist centre and at various festivals over the years. I am trained in reflexology and believe in massage as a healing modality.
I enjoy walking in nature and visiting ancient sites. Car boot sales, old bookshops, curio shops.
I would ideally like to meet a localish man with shared interests so we can meet up in real time but open to a long distance romance with the right man. There are cars and trains and boats and planes. Distance should not be an obstacle for the right man.
I love animals and currently have one cat but love dogs especially hounds - deerhounds, borzoi and also horses.
