I can become interested in just about anything given the right circumstances, but abiding interests are; politics, the Arts, writing, cooking, exchange of ideas, keeping fit and healthy. I''m a ''glass half-full'' kind of person, most of the time, but can also be morose. I enjoy being older because there are none of the worries of youth, no agendas. I like the perspective that a long life bestows on those lucky enough to achieve one. I also relish difference, the foreigner, the ''other''.
