These are the terms and conditions governing the use of this website and the agreement that operates between us and you (the "Terms"). These Terms set out the rights and obligations of all users ("you"-"your") and those of Natural Friends Ltd (“the Company”, "us"-"our"-"we") in relation to the services offered by us through this website (hereinafter collectively known as "Services"). These Terms apply to the entire contents of this Website ("website") and to any correspondence by email between you and us or between you and other users.

There shall be no contract between you and the Company until you have ticked the box ‘I Agree to the Terms & Conditions’ which is contained within the ‘Terms & Conditions’ section when you first Register as a Member.

Natural Friends Ltd, always strives to provide exceptional value for money and to treat people honestly and fairly at all times. We cherish our reputation established since 1985.

Full details of our method of operation are presented and explained on our website pages. And we recommend users familiarise themselves with these together with our Terms of Use and Privacy and Cookies Policy. If further clarification is necessary, please email us at info@naturalfriends.co.uk.  We encourage all prospective members to find out as much as possible about the way we operate before they join.

People are eligible to join Natural Friends if they are 18 years of age or older. Members who select ‘Romance’ in the ‘I’m Looking For’ section of their Profile should be single and free to enter into a new relationship.

The Company does not organise any social events at present.

The Company shall process the information you provide, and then publish your personal profile so those bona fide members can access it within the agreed terms.

The Company will use reasonable endeavours to correct any material faults with any technical aspect of the Services reported to it via e-mail at the address provided on the website. The Company reserves the right to suspend the Services, and you agree that the Company will not be liable for any loss suffered as a result of such suspension.

You shall be liable to pay fees to the Company as set out in the Pricing section. The Company reserves the right to change the fees from time to time without notice.  All fees charged are clearly stated.

You hereby undertake to comply with any terms of use of the Services notified to you from time to time by the Company.

The Company shall have no liability or responsibility for any damage or loss caused, directly or indirectly, by the provision of the Services, save for death or personal injury caused by the Company's negligence. In particular, the Company shall not be liable for any damage or loss suffered by you as a result of your use of the Services. You acknowledge that the Company offers no guarantee to provide you with any potential matches.

You hereby agree to indemnify the Company against all actions, claims, proceedings, costs and damages (including all legal costs or other expenses) arising out of any breach of this Contract by you and/or any other damage whatsoever caused directly or indirectly by your use of the Services.

The Company may assign, sub-contract, licence or otherwise dispose of all or any of its rights and obligations under this agreement including your Private Data and may reveal details of the existence and contents of this Contract to any third party in connection with any proposed or actual assignment, sub-contract, licence or other disposal subject only to said third party agreeing to assume the same obligations of confidentiality that the Company has set out and agreed to as disclosed in our privacy policy.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England to settle any dispute which may arise out of or in connection with these Terms.
The above conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer in the United Kingdom.

If any third party commences or threatens to commence any legal proceedings against you as a result of your use of the Services the Company may terminate or suspend your use of the Services pending the outcome of any such claim.

Contacting other members

Members are able to make as many contacts as they wish during their period of Full Membership.

Members are responsible for making contacts themselves. The Company merely provides lists of profiles; no guarantee is made that matches will be in a specific area or that any contacts that are made will result in successful relationships. Members can always check the total number of members on the site at any particular time.

The Company is not responsible for the accuracy of the information provided by members or for the acts of individual members. However, it does provide common sense advice about making safe contacts.

The Company expects you to use common sense, as always, with services of this sort. Members are not pre-screened before they place profiles. It is your responsibility, as a responsible adult, to satisfy yourself as to the good intentions of a person before you ever go past an email relationship. We advise you never to include your personal contact details (telephone number, personal email address or postal address) in messages sent using the service until you are satisfied that you can trust the other person.

Security

The website is housed on a secure server and holds a current secure server certificate (the closed padlock should be visible at the top of the website screen – in front of the url/website address). You should also note that the URL has the prefix 'https'. Access is restricted to bona fide members (using a membership number and password), the proprietors and authorised personnel such as webmasters.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure that information is not accessed by unauthorised persons, there is a risk of that and that risk lies with the user. It is the responsibility of each member to keep all login details safe and secure and not to divulge them to other people. You may not authorise others to use your membership, and you may not assign or otherwise transfer your account to any other person or entity.

If you have reason to believe that your account is no longer secure, you must notify Natural Friends promptly at info@naturalfriends.co.uk so that your password can be changed.

Secure credit/debit card verification and processing is carried out by Sage Pay. (www.sagepay.co.uk)

Queries, Complaints and Refunds

Queries and / or complaints to the Company are handled as quickly and effectively as possible. Most are responded to within 24-48 hours of receipt and all should be responded to within 5 working days. Very exceptionally, during holiday periods for instance, the response time may be delayed slightly longer.

The Company is not able to provide detailed help to enable members to solve problems that are caused by the members' own computers. From time to time, different web browsers may require simple 'fixes' that will be provided free of charge. However, in the event of a member not being able to use the site as intended, and after all reasonable steps having been taken by Natural Friends Ltd and its website host to solve the problem, a full refund will be offered to the member. The Company will ensure that no loss of membership time occurs as the result of a problem and will use discretion to provide additional membership time in some cases. As a general rule, once the service has commenced, no cancellation will be allowed.

Refunds are only provided if contacted within seven days of a payment being made and subscriber services not being used. For the avoidance of doubt, subscriber services include both reading and sending messages. Refunds will incur a £3 administration fee.

Other refunds, minus an administration charge of £3 Sterling, will only be provided at the discretion of the Company within 7 days of registration.

Overpayments of fees caused by accidental actions of members or rare technical problems with the site will be refunded in full by to the members’ debit/credit card within 7 days of notification.

The Company may be contacted at any time via the email address info@naturalfriends.co.uk  Members should provide their membership number and contact details and the Company will endeavour to respond to messages within 24-48 hours of receipt.

Privacy Policy

Rest assured, the Company does not disclose, give, sell or transfer any information about its visitors or members for commercial reasons.

The sole responsibility of the Company is to publish personal profiles that are accessed by bona fide members within the agreed terms. The Company cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of the information supplied or for the acts of individual members. The Company relies on the honesty of the users and cannot be held accountable if information is false or misleading.

Members must be 18 years old or older and agree to our Terms & Conditions when they first Register as a Member. However, the Company cannot guarantee that each member is at least the required minimum age, nor does it accept responsibility or liability for any content, communication or other use or access of the website by persons under the age of 18 in violation of these Terms.

These General Conditions (in addition to the Code of Practice, Terms of Business and Privacy Policy above) constitute all the terms and conditions of the Contract and shall (subject as follows) override and exclude any other terms or conditions stipulated or incorporated or referred to by you or the Company. You acknowledge that there are no representations outside these Conditions, which have induced you to enter into the Contract, and these Conditions shall constitute the entire understanding between you and the Company for the supply of services under the Contract.

The Company shall at any time be entitled to vary these Conditions by updating them on the website and identifying to you the date of the last update. You will be deemed to have accepted the change if you continue to be a member.

Copyright and Intellectual Property

All copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in any on the website or in material supplied as part of the Services is ours or is licensed to us and you shall not copy reproduce, transmit, distribute or create derivative works of such material without our express permission. Types of Member

Everyone who registers at our website becomes a "Member", but there are two types of membership, members who decide to pay a fee for our full service become "Full Members" and those who don’t become "Free Members" who avail of our Free Service.

As a Free member you won't be able to send messages or winks to other members however you'll be able to see who has sent you a message or wink and if you upgrade to a Full (Paid) member, you will be able to read it and reply.

As a Full member you can send and receive messages or winks, prepare and save draft messages as well as block messages. You can also upload upto 8 photos in your profile and share and comment on photos in our Gallery and message board.

All members can use the Members Search, tailor that search and favourite those they like the look of.

Member Obligations

The Company may terminate this Contract immediately, without refund of fees, if you are found guilty of any criminal offence and/or another person using the Services makes a complaint against you, which is found to be justified. Similarly, termination without refund may occur if any information provided by you is false, you breach any of the terms of this Contract, you abuse the Services, use intimidating behaviour or offensive language, post on the Service, or transmit to other Members or employees, any defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, obscene, profane, offensive sexually oriented, threatening, harassing, racially offensive, or illegal material, or any material that infringes or violates another party's rights (including, but not limited to, intellectual property rights, and rights of privacy and publicity). The Company may also in its absolute discretion terminate this Contract by giving you 7 days notice in writing. You will be notified of the Company's decision to terminate this Contract. No correspondence will be entered into as a result of the Company terminating this Contract, and the Company is not obliged to give any reason for such suspension or termination.

• You will use the Service in a manner consistent with any and all applicable laws and regulations. You will not include in your profile any telephone numbers, street addresses, last names, URLs, e-mail addresses, offensive anatomical or sexual references, or offensive sexually suggestive or connotative language, or any confidential information of any third person, and you will not post any photographs or other images containing such personal information. Natural Friends Limited reserves the right, but has no obligation, to reject any profile or photograph or image that does not comply with these prohibitions.
• You will not impersonate any person or entity.
• You will not "stalk" or otherwise harass any person.
• You will not engage in advertising to, or solicitation of, other Members to buy or sell any products or services through the Natural Friends website.
• You will not transmit any chain letters, spam or junk email to other Members.
• You will not express or imply that any statements you make are endorsed by us, without our specific prior written consent.
• You will not harvest or collect personal information about other Members whether or not for commercial purposes, without their express consent.
• You will not use any robot, spider, site search/retrieval application, or other manual or automatic device or process to retrieve, index, "data mine", or in any way reproduce or circumvent the navigational structure or presentation of the Natural Friends website or its contents.
• You will not post, distribute or reproduce in any way any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information without obtaining the prior consent of the owner of such proprietary rights.
• You will not remove any copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights notices contained in the Natural Friends website.
• You will not interfere with or disrupt the Services or the Site or the servers or networks connected to the Natural Friends website.
• You will not post, e-mail or otherwise transmit any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.
